Spring Maintenance

This week we have posted tips on Facebook about getting ready for Spring. To coincide with these, we thought we would do a blog about items you should keep on hand so that your business doesn’t skip a beat. Let’s dive in, shall we?

During in-season tanning, the last thing you need is to have equipment down. This includes your sunless equipment. Having items such as extra cups, and gaskets is nice, but having a backup unit is better. We recommend having 2 units to ensure you never have to turn away business. This can be accomplished with a smaller unit if the price is an issue. Heartland carries spray units in all sizes and price ranges to keep your business running smoothly.

Speaking of sunless, have you checked your filters? Making sure you clean these regularly along with your guns and booth nozzles is crucial to saving you money. Well-maintained equipment not only works better but also lasts longer.

What about your UV equipment? If you have the room, it’s a good idea to have an extra acrylic on hand as well as lamps, starters, and other parts. In the current world of shipping and raw material delays, it isn’t feasible to have a bed down for long periods during the tanning season. This could cost you big money.

Luckily, Heartland stocks many hard-to-find parts, and while we do a fantastic job at having these available if the demand for something is out of the norm you run the risk of it being out due to delays.

We have all felt the disappointment lately in going to a restaurant or store and having things be unavailable, don’t let your customers feel the same disappointment. Be prepared this season to show your customers that YOU are the best there is.
