As many of you know, the Mind Your Business Retreat will be the first Heartland has hosted. While we have years of hosting events, this event is very different from anything we have done in the past. Add in the fact that everyone has been on lockdown for the last year and you are left with skepticism.
When Heartland first decided to hold an in-person event we reached out to our vendor partners to see who would partner with us to bring salon owners the getaway event they were longing for. Without hesitation, Sun Evolutions stepped up blindly not only as a partner but as our top-level sponsor!
Sun Evolutions trainers David McFarland, and Gina Jaeger love supporting salons in the tanning industry and have helped many businesses increase sales and build employee confidence. They each host free monthly webinars that have been praised by owners, managers, and staff alike. Both are excited to bring their knowledge to you at Mind Your Business this June. We asked David, “What are you most looking forward to about this event? “, to which he replied, “ Seeing our people, IN REAL LIFE! Not to mention being away from home where there are always chores, and room service. “
If you are attending, you no doubt have topics you are wanting to discuss with others in our industry. However, our manufacturing partners are also excited to speak with you about things. David for example is interested in how salons are taking advantage of the self-care surge of at-home beauty treatments and buying local trends. What are you doing to get guests back in the salon? And since customers got accustomed to having products delivered during Covid how that has changed the way they do business now?
Sun Evolutions staff is excited to spend this time networking with you and is working overtime to prepare. David recommends salon owners prepare themselves to get the most out of this event by creating a list of what you want to improve right now in your salon. Hone in on a few goals that are important to your success and make it your mission to come home with those answers. There is a lot to cover in only 2 days and you want to get the most out of this retreat. Be sure to take time to relax and have a blast!
