Unless you have been living under a rock you have seen or heard of subscription services. What used to be only for things like magazines has exploded into big business. Rarely when scrolling through your feeds on social media do you not see an add or post about some type of subscription service. Companies such as Ipsy, Birchbox, Fit Fab Fun, and Stitch Fix have capitalized on these services and you should too.
While mailing multiple packages to customers each month isn’t realistic you can incorporate this into your business. Buy creating a gift box of samples each month and displaying them in your salon you can increase interest. Offer an EFT sample service for clients to get a gift box each month when they come in to day, or include them with EFT memberships. Offer specials on any product they decide to purchase from trying the sample in their monthly box if they purchase that month.
Make them pretty. You can use a small gift box with confetti or tissue paper. You can even take it further and create a monthly bag that is large enough to hold a full-size bottle of lotion and eyewear so they can continue to use their bag through the month. Get creative with it. The possibilities are endless.
