At Heartland, innovation is at the core of everything we do. This year, we proudly introduced several new tools and resources to streamline your business and empower your success.

• The Heartland App
  This year, we became the first in the industry to launch a dedicated app, and the feedback has been phenomenal! From placing orders to accessing marketing assets, exploring new products, and catching up on webinars, the app has become a one-stop shop for everything you need to manage your salon efficiently. By giving you access to key tools at your fingertips, the app also allows our experienced reps to focus even more on providing personalized support and strategic advice to help your business thrive.

• Texting Capabilities
  We introduced a more convenient way for you to communicate with us: texting! Whether you have questions, need assistance, or want to place an order, texting has made it easier than ever to stay in touch with our team.

• The Let’s Talk Tanning Podcast
  We also launched Let’s Talk Tanning, our very first podcast and it’s quickly become a go-to resource for salon owners and staff alike. Featuring industry experts, actionable tips, and inspiring stories, this podcast has been all about connecting our community and providing valuable insights to help you succeed. With topics ranging from training programs to expanding into wellness services, the podcast is packed with ideas to grow your business.

Event Highlights from 2024

This year, we brought the industry together through engaging, educational, and energizing events that left a lasting impact.

• MYB (Mind Your Business) What A Trip!
  Heartland's MYB events continued to exceed expectations, bringing together salon owners, staff, and industry professionals for networking, expert panels, and creative team-building exercises. Attendees left inspired and equipped with new tools to enhance their businesses. This year's event featured a 1960s throwback to a time with customer service was on another level. This theme worked seamlessly with the standard Heartland sets for our events and how we treat our customers. Fun, laughter, knowledge, and memories were had by all in attendance. 

• Sunless Training Workshops
  With the growing popularity of sunless services, our in house Norvell University classes focused on mastering the art and science of spray tanning. Attendees learned cutting-edge techniques and strategies to elevate their sunless offerings and provide clients with exceptional results.

• Heartland Educational Conference
  We hosted an event that celebrated the heart of the tanning industry, featuring an incredible lineup of vendors, hands-on product demonstrations, and sessions on how to maximize your salon’s potential. From innovative business strategies to showcasing new products, this expo was a hub of connection and knowledge.

Through every event, one theme remained consistent: community. Our goal was to create inclusive spaces where everyone—from new salon owners to seasoned veterans—felt welcome, valued, and inspired. And based on the amazing testimonials we’ve received, we’re thrilled to say that mission was accomplished!
